Runcorn started the game with plenty of purpose tonight but could not capitalise on there chances, Altrincham scored midway through the first half to gain the advantage at the break. Although Runcorn created some chances in the second half again they could not convert them into goals.

Runcorns player manager Liam Watson   & Altrinchams Mark Maddox were booked in the second half, After Liam had chalenged the Alty keeper for the ball. Then close to full time Altrincham went further ahead to make the game safe.
