Runcorn deserved at least a point from this game but they
realy must tighten there defence, After being in the lead at the break they gave
it away in the end. This was Liam Watsons
first game back in a Runcorn shirt & he had a fine game scoring a welcome
second goal in the first half, He received a good through ball on the
right & lobbed goalkeeper Bill Stewart with a first time effort . The first
goal was scored by Paul McNally with a shot from an acute angle which beat
Billy Stewart at the far corner.
Picture 1 is Mike Moseley challenging for the ball No 2 Billy Stewart makes a safe catch, No3 fists the ball away, No 4 Liam Watson scores the second goal, No 5 team celebrate the goal, No 6 Paul McNally just fails to make contact with this effort, No 7 Barmy army enjoy the second goal.
