Runcorn share the points.

Runcorn gained a valuable point at Canal st in an entertaining game which could have swung either way.

Runcorn opened the scoring after seven mins John McAllister crossed from the right & after a couple of shots were cleared Chris Price was on hand to put the ball into the Gainsborough net see picture No 2.

Liam Watson just failed to score a second but his shot was blocked by keeper Martin, Gainsborough hit back  with efforts from Drayton & Ellington going just wide . 

Liam Watson had another chance on goal from an  angle but keeper Martin blocked his shot once again (see Pic no 5)  . Chris Price had a couple more chances but could not improve on his tally, Gainsborough scored a well deserved equalizer in the 58 min through Lingham.

The game ended with both teams missing a couple of chances to steal the game but it finished all square at the final whistle.
